I keep getting the same thing. I know it is a scam, but still makes me nervous. I was taken to the cleaners a few years ago by scammers. this is crazy.

Got a call from this phone number.
I didn't pick up the call, but I ran it by Google. It is some sort of market research outfit. I am on the
Do Not Call Registry, but they called anyway.
Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.
But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

It was the US Coast Guard doing a survey about boats. Strange! I told them I don't own a boat and they ended the conversation.
We have kept getting calls from this number every day at the same time about 8:00 pm mountian time annoying they never leave a message or anything pick up nothing its getting ridiculous!

Got the third call from this number. Did not answer any survey. Confirm what previous folks said. "We are doing a survey for the coast guard on boat ownership and usage". Funny a survey participant just had to be 16 years or older. Not 18 the age of majority..
I told this woman (she did not give me her name) the coast guard had all our information. She could not identify the number on my caller id displaying. saying usually it says private or unidentified that
they were a group working with with random numbers !!?? I asked her for numbers I could call to identify this group of survey takers what follows are those numbers...

I didn't pick up the call...tried to text it back, but received a text saying the caller was unreachable.
Called my cell tonight at 8:15pm. Said the U.S. Coast Guard was conducting a survey. I said I didn't have the time (and thought it was weird to call so late). I'm also on the Do Not Call List.
Got a call and ignored, these companies need to stop harassing people!
They called & left no message. I do not answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.
Have received calls for several weeks now from 802-861-3486, I.D. ICF Macro, but do Not answer. We are on the Do Not Call list, and have a Stop Calling message device of which the do not adhere to. So now, we go a step further.
ICF Macro International is a does data analysis to cell phone data collecting. Also Surveys. Their web site ;ist office locations. Only the Burlington, VT office lists 802 numbers. Undoubtedly, they have several phones that are not listed. Their web site page for office locations:

Called unfamiliar number so I answered and immediately hung up.
I have received this call 3 times in the past week, including last night, and every time it is the same female voice. It's the voice of a younger black woman. All 3 times, I have told her to remove my number, including getting downright nasty with her the 3rd time. She says my number won't be removed unitl I participate in the survey. I have connections in the USCG and I am trying to track this down. So far, no one in the USCG I have talked to knows anything about this.

They've called me 5 times over the last week. Last night they called at 3:43am!!!! HUH? I knew it was a scam from the beginning. Says US Coast Guard doing survey - we'll give you a $5 amazon gift card. And I live in New Mexico. And don't own a boat.
They first called me at work, it was a woman caller. She explained that they are with the U. S. Coastguard and are doing a survey on boat ownership, as mentioned above. She also said I would be compensated with a "five dollar Amazon gift card". I then told her I was at work and she asked if there was a better time to call me back. I said no, and that I did not want to participate in the survey at all. They have been calling my cellphone (a tracphone) everyday since, at least once a day. Of course, all I can do is ignore it, but it's extremely frustrating.
First time the number called I received a voice message stating that it as the Coast Guard. Did not call the number back and now they are calling my cell phone daily.
I have looked up this number and they say its from Vermont and its a telemarketer it has now called me two days in arrow i am getting annoyed by it.
